InStyle’s Fashion Director Melissa Rubini is dishing on all things Paris Fashion Week. From must-see runway moments to magical show locations filled with chandeliers, read on for a look at what it's like to be at Paris Fashion Week.
1. Going for a run at Jardin des Tuileries (above).
It is still quite cold outside, but so gorgeous. I went for an early morning run at Jardin des Tuileries by the Louvre Museum and Seine River—it made me fall in love with Paris all over again. If you find yourself here, don't miss the opportunity to do this! Early in the morning there are no tourists around and you have the park all for yourself. It's a great time for photos—I couldn't resist.
2. Pierre Hardy presents scarlet suede shoes for Hermès.
Yes, please! Designer Pierre Hardy’s collection for Hermès is heaven. Red shoes are a must for fall/winter 2015 and these pumps have a reserved spot in my wardrobe. They come in lipstick-red suede goatskin and black alligator.
3. Dries Van Noten sets his show under rows of warmly lit chandeliers.
This was the magical setting for the Dries Van Noten show at the Hotel de Ville—which is not a hotel as one might think, but Paris's City Hall. So many chandeliers!
